Fiber reinforced concrete.
Within a 3-strory building ground floor, 50 m2 of garage ramps slowly sink as a result of a not totally happy engineering foundation decision, dated around 25 years ago.
A humble FRC (fiber reinforced concrete) fabrication was undertaken, with the collab of 2 workmen and ASC as dosage-responsible. The fabrication process was old fashioned. Nevertheless, the concrete with fibers is still in perfect condition, despite extreme temperature variation range from 16 to 42 °C (air) and more if we consider ramps receive direct midday sunlight.
Concrete was strictly cured from day 0 to 7 days, and less strictly for day 8 to 14.
