Mexico Pavilion. World Expo Busan 2030

This entry won a 3rd prize in a open international competition, organized by Busan City.

The project is the result of modular round buildings and the paths in between them. Rainwater is harvested and also builds the atmposphere of this 'water pavilion', to storytelling Mexico's rich water culture.

The project is clearly alligned with Cactus and Lan'gi projects.

More about Mexico Pavilion

Busan's weather allowed to propose water slabs. Specifically during the months where the Expo would take place, they can function as infrastructure devices. The comfort temperature needed indoors are compatible with what water can provide in terms of the thermic variations it generates, helped by proposed water supply (to the water slabs) from the bay, right in fron the Expo site.
