Lab (laboratory, laboratório) unites experimental and thinking isolated episodes, as humble complementary tasks that may provide a value —no matter if small or huge— to ACT's Projects and Consulting practices. Articles, own hands material tests and real scale experiences, are part of the core of the will to contribute to change.

In particular, learning about construction processes, details, by direct and first-hand experience is key. Architecture, urbanism and many other related disciplines, ultimately rely in the hands that handle tools and building materials.

This atelier approach also helps us to understand workforce's difficulties for any new project.
