Saudi Arabia will host the Wold Fair Expo in 2030. Understanding that the airport of Riyadh will be in a peak demand, the idea is to offer a 1 story pavilion of around 1200 m2 to welcome visitors properly when waiting for their connection to the city by car, vans, etc.
Saudi Arabia will host the Wold Fair Expo in 2030. Understanding that the airport of Riyadh will be in a peak demand, the idea is to offer a 1 story pavilion of around 1200 m2 to welcome visitors properly when waiting for their connection to the city by car, vans, etc.
Differently from the existing airpot, with typical impersonal touch and an army of air conditioning, the Pavilion welcomes visitors offering getle shadow and cross ventilation. Visitors inevitably must exist the artificial climate of the Ariport to wait for their taxi or van. The Pavilion offers a pause for those who must wait few minutes amid the desert.
